Predicate – a startup accelerating the development of cryptocurrency applications

A startup called Predicate, founded by two graduates of the Celo blockchain, aims to support cryptocurrency firms in dealing with regulations. It offers an innovative service that enables cryptocurrency applications to quickly implement decision-making processes regarding transaction approvals.

Financial support and decentralized nature

The Predicate project has secured financial backing of 7 million dollars from renowned capital firms such as Tribe and 1kx. The startup plans to operate in line with the decentralized ethos of the blockchain, believing in simplifying blockchain technology and integrating it with traditional sectors of the economy.

Plug-and-play solution for blockchain applications

Unlike centralized company structures where decisions are made by people, Predicate offers a plug-and-play solution that allows blockchain applications to easily implement transaction approval logic. It is currently available on Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains, with plans to expand to other blockchains in the future.

Collaboration and development

The startup collaborates with the EigenLayer network to develop a community of operators implementing the Predicate technology through a proof-of-stake system. Currently, the company offers integration with new clients, charging fees per transaction, but has not yet disclosed the names of the first clients. The Predicate team currently consists of six employees, with plans to expand to 10 individuals in the coming months.
